Piston Valve

Our Disc type valves are usually for installation at the bottom of tanks or reactors for liquids outlet or draining:

• disc rising in the tank to open, crust breaking function (types 602 and 603)
• disc lowering in the valve body (type 607)

The disc seating surface is with PTFE to metal contact for operating temperature up to 180°C or with metal to metal contact. These valves have been fire safe tested and qualified. The tank connection is by done by counter flange or pad.
Main optional arrangements :

• profiled disc for regulating/control service (type 607)
• interchangeable seat
•  temperature sensor integrated to the disc
• stem bellows
• body purge or drain nozzles
• heating jacket
• side mounted actuator
• vacuum service.

Operation

• handwheel with manual gear if required
• single or double acting pneumatic actuator (manual override)
• electric or hydraulic actuator.

These valves can be manufactured in fabricated (welded) or cast construction, in a large choice of carbon or stainless steel and alloys.
